When visitors arrive on your website, they would immediately want to know what it is about and what is it that you do. Thus, it is important to create a tagline that summarizes the basic purpose of the website in a simple sentence. Your tagline should be short and crisp so that your visitors not only know what you do, but also are impressed by it.

Create a Portfolio Page

The basic purpose of a portfolio website is to showcase your works- your products and service. So creating a good portfolio page is extremely important. Your portfolio page would determine of your website is interesting or just another amateur addition on the web. Your visitors would pass a judgment on your business by looking at the contents of your portfolio page. Remember, the presentation of the contents is as important as the contents themselves. The portfolio page should have high quality images that are high on accessibility and usability. Also, include a brief description about each of the featured products/ projects or anything else.

Add an About Me Section

If you want to promote yourself through your portfolio website, your need to tell people about yourself and let them know about the face behind the website. Talk about your background, how you started the business, how many years have you been in the industry and so on. The more valuable details you give, more credibility you will gain.
